Sweet Tomato Pizza Sauce recipe – 68 calories

Ingredients:Sweet Tomato Pizza Sauce recipe - 68 calories
1 (28ounce) can tomato pure
3 cloves fresh minced garlic
1/2 tablespoon minced carrots
1 teaspoon dried onions, minced or chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper, to taste

Preparation:
1. In a large pot, heat the
olive oil
over medium heat.

tomato puree

3. Add all the other ingredients and simmer uncovered on low heat, stirring frequently, for about 30-60 minutes (until the desired consistency).
